Roanoke, VA (April 7th, 2021) - VBR Star is excited to announce our upcoming coaching slate for the 2021/2022 season. As we continue to grow and build our coaching staff, we have a couple new announcements to make.

Noah Jefferson will assume the new title of Assistant Director of coaching. Noah will be overseeing all players from U5 to U12 while also coaching an older team and being the Assistant coach on the USL Academy Team.

Lizzie Boone will be stepping into a new role for the club this summer, as the Director of Female Development. This role will fit Lizzie perfectly, as she has a sincere passion for developing young female soccer players. Lizzie will coach a team and will also oversee a technical program for all female players during the upcoming season. We believe that a person like Lizzie can build the necessary relationships with female athletes to help them achieve their goals.

Over the past 12 months, VBR Star has seen coaches thrive in the US Soccer Coaching Development Pathway. All coaches at VBR Star are Nationally Licensed:

• 2 VBR Star Coaches have achieved the US Soccer C License

• 9 VBR Star Coaches have achieved the US Soccer D License

• 10 VBR Star Coaches have achieved the US Soccer Grassroots License

• 1 VBR Star Coach has achieved the US Soccer Grassroots Instructor License
